My love of photography began as child, working with my father as he developed and printed black and white photographs in our kitchen.
By the time I was twelve, I had established a darkroom of my own in our house.
By fourteen I was winning prizes in the Boston Globe's adult photo contests and by age sixteen I was selling my photos to several Boston area newspapers including the Boston Globe and Boston Herald.
I majored in Photojournalism at Boston University and received my B.S. Degree in 1968.
Throughout a thirty year career in retailing, I continued taking pictures as a 'serious amateur'.
After an accident forced my retirement in 2000, I once again devoted the majority of my time to photography, specializing in 'flower portraits'.
Over the years, my work has been published in the Boston Globe, Parade Magazine website, Community Newspapers, The Boston Herald and other local and regional publications.
